  1. Wow, would it be “wicked and vile” to admit that this sort of drama is part of what makes the Bloggernacle more interesting than… (well I won’t say “than church” because in-fighting happens there too), but at least more interesting than General Conference.

  2. chanson, that’s funny — I just had read on Adam’s new site a comment that went something like, “BCC is good for one thing: getting apathetic teenagers interested in general conference so they can blog about it.”

And I thought…YES. It happened to me. And now we have this.

  3. Adam isn’t doing anything that hasn’t been done before on a thousand internet forums, it’s just one more Grand Exit.

Truly though, if they didn’t’ do this kind of infighting it wouldn’t be nearly as fun to watch. Banner of Heaven was better than a comedy TV show while it lasted and the whole fight over calling FMH a big blog? Their all a bunch of lawurzz & academics with a desire to avoid work and feel important.

  4. Very true that this type of flame war is standard fare on the Internet. And it’s probably also true that BCC is good for getting apathetic teenagers interested in general conference so they can blog about it. 😉

  5. The drama among sexless 15-year-old boys on the World of Warcraft forums was much better IMO.

    But this is good too.
